Position Description:

We are seeking a distinguished and highly skilled Consultant Pediatric ENT Surgeon to join a leading healthcare institution in Dubai. The ideal candidate will specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of ear, nose, and throat disorders in children. This role demands a dedicated professional committed to delivering exceptional patient care, advancing pediatric ENT health, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and provide expert management for a wide range of pediatric ENT conditions, including airway obstructions, hearing impairments, sinus diseases, and congenital abnormalities.
  • Perform advanced surgical procedures, including endoscopic sinus surgery, airway reconstruction, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, and cochlear implantations.
  • Develop individualized care plans to address the unique needs of pediatric patients and ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams such as audiologists, speech therapists, pediatricians, and critical care specialists to offer integrated care.
  • Educate families on treatment options, post-operative care, and preventative strategies for ENT conditions.
  • Stay at the forefront of advancements in pediatric otolaryngology and adopt evidence-based practices to enhance patient care.
  • Participate actively in clinical education and mentorship of junior medical staff, contributing to the professional development of the surgical team.
  • Ensure strict compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and uphold international standards of safety and excellence in care delivery.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Otolaryngology (American Board Certification preferred) with subspecialty training in Pediatric ENT.
  • Western-trained (e.g., USA, UK, Canada, or equivalent) with experience in reputable healthcare environments.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Consultant Pediatric ENT Surgeon.
  • Proven expertise in handling complex surgical cases and managing challenging pediatric conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a family-centered approach to care.
  • Eligibility for DHA/DOH/MOH licensing to practice in Dubai.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and clinical innovation in pediatric ENT care.
