Consultant in Pediatric Hematology & Oncology

Salary: 65,000 - 70,000 SAR/ monthly

Position Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Pediatric Hematology & Oncology to join a prestigious medical institution in Jeddah. This role focuses on providing advanced care for children with hematological disorders and cancers, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes and compassionate patient support. The ideal candidate will be committed to clinical excellence, research, and improving pediatric oncology care in a multidisciplinary setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric hematologic and oncologic conditions, including leukemia, lymphoma, solid tumors, and bleeding disorders.
  • Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, targeted therapies, and stem cell transplantation.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including oncologists, hematologists, radiologists, and pediatric surgeons, to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Implement and advance evidence-based protocols to enhance treatment efficacy and patient safety.
  • Engage in clinical research and contribute to advancements in pediatric cancer therapies.
  • Educate families on treatment options, disease progression, and supportive care strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi healthcare regulations and maintain international standards in pediatric hematology-oncology practice.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Pediatric Hematology & Oncology.
  • Must hold UK CCT, American Board, or Canadian Board certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant in pediatric hematology-oncology.
  • Expertise in managing complex pediatric cancers and hematologic disorders.
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
  • Eligibility for medical licensing in Saudi Arabia.
  • Dedication to continuous medical education and research in pediatric oncology.
