Consultant Pediatric Neurologist

Position Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant Pediatric Neurologist to join the Pediatric Neurology department of a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. This role focuses on diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurological disorders in children, ensuring the delivery of exceptional medical care and providing compassionate support to young patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of pediatric neurological conditions, including epilepsy, developmental delays, and neuromuscular disorders.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as EEG, MRI, and CT scans to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including pediatricians, therapists, and other specialists, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Educate families about their child’s condition, treatment options, and long-term management strategies.
  • Participate in clinical research and contribute to advancements in pediatric neurology.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Pediatric Neurology.
  • Board certification in Pediatric Neurology is highly desirable.
  • Valid medical license to practice in Dubai, UAE.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Consultant Pediatric Neurologist.
  • Expertise in managing complex neurological conditions in children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and families.
  • Western-trained education or experience required.
