Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join one of the leading medical institutions in Dubai. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing, treating, and managing pediatric patients with blood disorders and cancers. This position demands a compassionate, detail-oriented professional dedicated to delivering world-class care while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for young patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of hematologic conditions, such as anemia, clotting disorders, and other blood-related diseases in children.
  • Treat pediatric patients with various types of cancers, including leukemia, lymphoma, and solid tumors.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and supportive therapies.
  • Provide holistic care with a focus on improving quality of life for patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with other specialists, including pediatric surgeons, radiologists, and pathologists, to deliver integrated care.
  • Offer counseling and education to families, ensuring they understand treatment protocols and follow-up care.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in pediatric hematology/oncology to adopt evidence-based practices.
  • Comply with UAE medical regulations and uphold international standards of patient care.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Board certification in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology (American Board Certification is preferred).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a consultant in pediatric hematology/oncology.
  • Must be Western-trained, with expertise in managing complex cases involving blood disorders and pediatric cancers.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach to care.
  • Eligibility for DHA/DOH/MOH licensing to practice in the UAE.
