Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist

Position Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist to join the Pediatric Cardiology department of a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. This position is focused on diagnosing and treating a variety of heart conditions in infants, children, and adolescents, while delivering exemplary care and compassion to young patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnoses of pediatric cardiac conditions, including congenital heart defects and arrhythmias.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as echocardiography, cardiac catheterization, and stress testing.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medical management and surgical interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including pediatric surgeons, radiologists, and nurses, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Educate families about their child’s condition, treatment options, and long-term management strategies.
  • Participate in clinical research and contribute to advancements in pediatric cardiology.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Pediatric Cardiology.
  • Board certification in Pediatric Cardiology is highly desirable.
  • Valid medical license to practice in Dubai, UAE.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist.
  • Expertise in diagnostic techniques and treatment modalities for pediatric cardiac conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and families.
  • Western-trained education or experience required.
