Position Description:

A prestigious healthcare institution in Jeddah is seeking an accomplished Consultant Neurosurgeon to join its expert surgical team. This role focuses on the diagnosis and surgical treatment of complex neurological conditions, including brain and spinal disorders. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional surgical expertise, a commitment to patient-centered care, and a drive to contribute to advancements in neurosurgical techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform intricate neurosurgical procedures, including brain tumor resections, spinal surgeries, and vascular neurosurgery.
  • Diagnose and manage neurological disorders such as traumatic brain injuries, stroke, epilepsy, and spinal cord abnormalities.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with neurologists, anesthesiologists, and rehabilitation specialists.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art imaging, robotics, and minimally invasive techniques to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Lead and contribute to clinical research initiatives in neurosurgery, ensuring the integration of cutting-edge practices.
  • Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, recovery protocols, and long-term management strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi healthcare regulations and uphold global standards in neurosurgical practice.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Neurosurgery.
  • Must hold UK CCT, American Board, or Canadian Board certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant Neurosurgeon.
  • Expertise in advanced neurosurgical techniques, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery.
  • Strong clinical judgment, precision, and ability to work in high-pressure environments.
  • Eligibility for medical licensing in Saudi Arabia.
