Position Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished Consultant Critical Care Specialist to join the Critical Care department of a renowned healthcare facility in Dubai. This position emphasizes delivering life-saving interventions and managing critically ill adult patients within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The successful candidate will uphold exceptional standards of medical care and clinical excellence, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in critical situations.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage critically ill adult patients with complex medical conditions, including sepsis, respiratory failure, and multi-organ dysfunction.
• Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams in the ICU to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and oversee the implementation of life-saving therapies.
• Collaborate with other specialists, including surgeons and anesthesiologists, for comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in clinical research and contribute to advancements in critical care medicine.
• Maintain meticulous medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Critical Care Medicine.
• Board certification in Critical Care Medicine is highly desirable.
• Valid medical license to practice in Dubai, UAE.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in adult critical care.
• Expertise in managing complex critical illnesses and utilizing advanced therapies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
• Western-trained education or experience required.
