Consultant Pediatric Interventional Cardiologist

Salary: 65,000 - 70,000 SAR/ monthly

Position Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Pediatric Interventional Cardiologist to diagnose and treat congenital and acquired heart conditions in infants, children, and adolescents. The role involves performing advanced catheter-based interventions and providing comprehensive cardiac care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and manage pediatric cardiac conditions using non-invasive and invasive techniques
  • Perform interventional cardiac catheterization procedures (e.g., ASD/VSD closures, PDA closures, balloon valvuloplasty, stenting)
  • Interpret echocardiograms, ECGs, and cardiac imaging
  • Collaborate with pediatric cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care
  • Participate in on-call rotations and emergency interventions
  • Mentor junior doctors and contribute to clinical education
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies

Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
  • Board certification (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, Canadian, or equivalent) in Pediatric Cardiology
  • Fellowship training in Pediatric Interventional Cardiology
  • Minimum 5–10 years of post-board experience
  • Valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) license or eligibility
  • Expertise in pediatric cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
