Job Description:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Pediatric Rehabilitation Specialist to join the Pediatric Rehabilitation department of a distinguished medical institution in Dubai. The ideal candidate, American Board-Certified, will focus on the evaluation, diagnosis, and therapeutic rehabilitation of children with physical, developmental, and cognitive challenges. This role demands an exceptional professional dedicated to enhancing the functional independence and overall quality of life of pediatric patients through evidence-based practices and cutting-edge rehabilitation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat children with physical disabilities, developmental delays, and neurocognitive disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on enhancing mobility, cognitive functions, and overall well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to deliver integrated care.
  • Utilize advanced rehabilitation techniques and technologies to improve outcomes.
  • Provide counseling and education to families, offering guidance on home care practices and long-term management strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE medical regulations and uphold international standards for patient care.
  • Stay updated on advancements in pediatric rehabilitation and adopt innovative, evidence-based practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Board certification in Pediatric Rehabilitation (American Board Certification is mandatory).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a consultant pediatric rehabilitation specialist in a leading healthcare environment.
  • Must be Western-trained, with expertise in managing complex pediatric rehabilitation cases.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate, family-centered approach.
  • Eligibility for DHA/DOH/MOH licensing to practice in the UAE.
