My main sub specialty training was in Oculoplastics and Glaucoma, and I had a special interest in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Adult strabismus and Diabetic eye disease through the various training opportunities that I had during my early years. More than 10 years after I had been a Consultant in the UK, I did further training in Uveitis and ocular inflammatory diseases with Prof Rennie.

With so many sub specialist interests and sub specialist training I cover most of the major fields in Ophthalmology and I class myself as a Specialist in General Ophthalmology who can provide total care with a holistic approach.

I perform state of the art refractive cataract surgery and routinely help and train consultants with the most challenging cases that we see in South Auckland.
