Job Summary:
A distinguished healthcare institution in Taif is looking for a highly proficient Consultant in Critical Care & ICU to provide expert management of critically ill patients. This role focuses on leading intensive care treatments, guiding multidisciplinary teams, and utilizing the latest advancements in critical care medicine to enhance patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the care of patients with life-threatening conditions, including respiratory failure, septic shock, and multi-organ dysfunction.
- Perform advanced life-support procedures such as intubation, mechanical ventilation, central line insertion, and extracorporeal support.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in coordination with intensivists, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams.
- Establish evidence-based protocols for ICU care, ensuring optimal patient management and safety.
- Lead resuscitation efforts and emergency interventions in critical situations.
- Contribute to clinical research and implement innovative approaches in intensive care medicine.
- Provide education and support to healthcare teams and families regarding post-ICU recovery and treatment strategies.
- Maintain compliance with Saudi medical regulations and uphold international standards in intensive care.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a reputable institution.
- Board certification in Critical Care Medicine or Anesthesia with subspecialty expertise in Intensive Care.
- Must hold UK CCT, American Board, or Canadian Board certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant in Critical Care & ICU.
- Expertise in managing high-risk ICU cases and executing advanced treatment procedures.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and teamwork abilities in demanding environments.
- Eligibility for medical licensing in Saudi Arabia.
