My main focus lies in the diagnosis and treatment of disease within the ocular adnexa and the anterior segment. As head of the oculoplastic department, my surgical spectrum includes complex reconstructions of the periorbital region, minimal invasive (endoscopic) as well as traditional lacrimal surgery (e.g. DCR) and orbital surgery. As part of being the responsible consultant for all the in-patients on the ward, I also subspecialize in glaucoma surgery (trabs, MIGS and laser), as well as corneal (PK, DMEK) and cataract/refractive surgery. Within the nature of an university hospital, we also treat very complex patients with necessary revisional surgery (e.g. IOL exchange etc.)
